Research Interests: I am interested in how volatiles, particularly carbon, are cycled on Earth. The main agents for transport of volatiles between different Earth reservoirs are magmas and water-rich fluids. I use experiments and thermodynamic calculations to determine the potential for these fluids to move carbon between Earth's interior and surface.
